Company updates
After about a year of running JPTelecomm alongside a full time position with the City of Spokane, I am both excited and saddened to share that I’ve accepted a Systems Technologist Position with Motorola Solutions, which means that JPTelecomm’s scope of available services will be changing significantly.
As of April 8th, 2024, I will be halting all new field and remote support work via JPTelecomm. I will also be halting all new equipment repairs, and the HAM Swapnet listserv.
I will continue to offer remote monitoring and web hosting services, though support hours will change. I will also still sell refurbished equipment via eBay.
I will be working to complete all outstanding repairs and jobs in process, as time allows, as quickly as possible.
Current customers are welcome to contact me directly to get referrals to other shops and / or request copies of documentation, which will be provided via customer portal.
After I’m settled in the new role, I may be able to take on some projects of very limited scope on the weekends, as long as they do not involve any commercial or public safety two way radio systems, as that would compete directly with Motorola Solutions.

HAM Discounts
We are HAM operators and credit the community with much of our radio education, so we offer discounts as our way of giving back to the community.
Repairs & Programming
The most common question we get is “I have this radio, will you program it?” If it’s a Motorola, Icom, Kenwood, or Vertex radio, we’ll likely be able to help with P25 or FM channels.
